MAY
Weather conditions for this year sure are testing the Yorkshire team's mettle - the Purples Match was reduced to two ranges due to severe precipitaion and cold! Most suffered bigger groups, Arthur Nicholl shot through it for a 50 and a 48. Match results unknown as yet!

APRIL
Huddersfield have a team in for the Mini Palma match at Bisley, followed by a Yorkshire team entered in the Purples Match, with a good mix of experience and newcomers.

Contacting the YRA
Apologies for any delay in replies to enquiries but they are being passed on to the relevant contacts. Priority is given to those with FACs or previous experience and I'm afraid I can't reply to every enquiry that reads something like "I'd like to try shooting, please send me details" because everything you need to know is on the Frequently Asked Questions page! Updates are being done where I can.

MARCH
A heavy defeat for Yorkshire against County of Lancaster in the rescheduled 2011 Roses Match, unfortunately. Bright sunlight behind the targets was evidently not affecting the locals as much as the visitors!

The squad training at Brockholes was a success, with much learnt and some good shooting here and there.

FEBRUARY

JANUARY
The 2012 fixture list is taking shape - please contact the Captain with your availability for the coming season. ASAP!!

Squad Training at Brockholes
This is a season opener and is open to anyone who wishes to develop their shooting and coaching technique and get up to speed for future matches.

Great Britain Team to South Africa
Good luck to Lauren Crowson who is a travelling reserve with the GB team tour in March, and will no doubt return in fine shooting form!

NRA Team to Channel Islands
Good luck also to Iain Power, touring to Guernsey and Jersey in May.
